Bevmo
BevMo! reached out to us late on a Friday night with a super-rush project. Major Celebrity was going to be appearing in an LA BevMo! store over the weekend to promote her new brand of 818 Tequila. Gopuff had just acquired BevMo! and was in the process of converting this store into a "Gopuff" store with their new branding. They requested a rush print of over 100 signs that could be staged in-store ahead of her appearance. There were multiple sizes and versions of signs, ranging from 5.5"x11" to 48"x33". All printing on foamcore and styrene on our large format digital presses
Execution: We had to act quickly! Our Sales Manager John Pappas called a meeting of all the key internal players after hours on Friday evening to strategize. We all came together to understand what each department had to do to get this rush job done. The estimator jumped right in with a rush quote and layouts. Our Planner searched the warehouse for all the materials we needed and initiated the job ticket. Prepress received art files from the designer and hustled proofs out to the client quickly for approval. Upon approval, the pressmen and ESKO operators worked feverishly to get all the signs printed and cut, so we could ship these to LA overnight via a counter-to-counter courier. It was around midnight by the time all signs were packed in our fulfillment installations, up and ready to go.
The courier picked up and drove all night from Sacramento to LA to arrive at the store just as they opened for business on Saturday.
Results: A huge win! Our client was thrilled that we were able to come through for them in a pinch! This Major Celebrity in-store appearance was a huge branding opportunity in front of a large event crowd. After the recent purchase of BevMo!, the Gopuff signs we produced were vital to building brand-recognition and awareness to their customers.
