IMMEX Packaging FAQ

Can you deliver to our facility in Mexico?
+
Yes, we support delivery to facilities in Mexico as well as US staging points near the border, depending on your preferred Incoterms and logistics setup.
Do you support US staging + cross-border transfers?
+
Absolutely. Many of our clients prefer us to deliver to a US consolidation point (freight forwarder) where they manage the import, while others utilize our direct delivery options. We cater to your specific supply chain flow.
What lead times should we expect?
+
Typical lead times range from 1-2 weeks for standard items and 3-4 weeks for new custom tooling. However, with our inventory stocking programs, standard releases can be just 24-48 hours.
Can you hold inventory or do scheduled releases?
+
Yes. We offer warehousing and JIT (Just-In-Time) delivery programs to ensure you have stock on the floor without overloading your own warehouse.
Do you support urgent reorders / line-down situations?
+
We understand the critical nature of maquiladora operations. We have expedited protocols in place to handle urgent production needs to help prevent line-down situations.
Can you engineer cost-down alternatives to our current packaging?
+
Yes. Our packaging engineers are experts at structural design audits. We often find opportunities to reduce material usage or switch board grades to lower costs without sacrificing protection.
Do you handle bilingual labeling / multiple SKUs?
+
We are fully equipped to handle complex SKU mixes and bilingual/trilingual print requirements to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
What information do you need to quote quickly?
+
To get you a fast quote, we need: 1) Packaging dimensions (ID or OD), 2) Style of box, 3) Estimated monthly/annual volume, 4) Delivery location, and 5) Samples or photos of current packaging if available.
